A Simple Enhancement!
After getting her simple engagement ring solitaire, Jenelle wanted to enhance it a little bit with a few diamonds on the band. A lot of people want a similar setting and the size of diamonds added to the side are personal choices. Some want a petite delicate look and small diamonds others want larger diamonds. Jenelle chose sizes that were in between not too small not too big. Jenelle has a 1 ct super ideal cut center diamond and 2 point diamonds on the side which made a perfect enhancement for a great overall look. It was exactly what she wanted!
The following is the sketch, the rendering and the finished ring.
A HALO WITH A TWIST!
Miki had always wanted a halo setting for her diamond engagement ring, but one that was slightly different. What she wanted and what she got was a halo with a twisted diamond band. She got a ring that had great proportions that did not overpower the center diamond and instead enhanced it. I am sure when she got it that she loved it - it looked beautiful!
The following are the sketches of the initial design, the computer rendering and the finished ring.
Something Really Different
Jason wanted a ring that looked different and he got it in so many different ways. First he started with a pear shaped center diamond which usually is not a common choice. He then wanted a 3 tier halo setting to resemble a snowflake and topped it off by using rose gold for the setting. It turned out different but oh so beautiful. I am sure, if his fiancé described what she wanted, that she got what she asked for and then some.
The following is the picture of his request, then a computer rendering that is used to create a wax model from which it is cast (the rendering is not a picture of the finished ring) then the video of the real finished ring.
A Perfect Balance
Jasen bought his diamond and wanted an engagement ring that was delicate, but not too simple nor too gaudy and settled on one that had a little diamonds on the side to enhance it. He supplied pictures of what he wanted and we helped him achieve his wish. The proportion of the side diamonds to the center diamond is in perfect harmony and proportion. It is a perfect balance in design that fit his request and it made him very happy and I am sure it made her very happy too!
The following pictures shows the process of him supplying and clarifying his wishes with a picture, from which a computer rendering is made and the resulting picture and video of the finished ring is what the ring looks like.
“Visions of Beauty” is a video blog featuring customer directed custom designs ranging from the sublime to definitely ornate. It could be modern, vintage, classical, free form or anything else one desires. Customers bring to the table, pictures, sketches or ideas of what they want. With a good understanding of what they desire computer renderings are done for them to see if we understand their wishes. If the renderings are not right in their perceptions adjustments are made until they are satisfied. A wax model is then produced from the renderings which then show the exact size, height and width the ring will end up to be. If the wax is accepted then it is used to make the casting from which it is then finished and the diamonds are set. These are videos of the finished product. Each ring is exquisitely crafted to express the personality of the owner in creating their dream ring. Consider making yours today!
